Call and Discernment Workshop
The conference includes an interactive and reflective workshop on call and discernment. This event will help you explore the meaning of "the call" to ministry as it relates to your own personal experience. You will also have the opportunity to engage with others who are discerning God's call in their lives. There will be time for individual and small group reflection, including a small group for spouses and partners.
During Ministry as Vocation, you will:
- Explore your questions about ministry and theological education;
- Meet faculty, students, and staff from Pacific School of Religion and the Graduate Theological Union (GTU), of which PSR is a member;
- Learn about PSR's academic programs, community life, field education, contextual learning program, financial aid, and housing;
- Tour the PSR campus and the GTU;
- Experience creative worship.
Exploring Ministry Luncheon: A Post-Conference Event for People of Color
Join PSR faculty, staff, students, and alumni/ae, Sunday, April 13 at 12:30 pm for an informal, informational gathering as we explore the issues, benefits, challenges, and joys that face people of color considering vocations in ministry.
