Jeffrey S. Siker is professor of New Testament and chairs the Department of Theological Studies at Loyola Marymount University (Los Angeles). His expertise includes early Jewish-Christian relations, the history of biblical interpretation, and uses of the Bible in ethical debates. He is the author of many articles and several books, including Homosexuality in the Church: Both Sides of the Debate and Scripture & Ethics: 20th Century Portraits. Dr. Siker is an ordained Presbyterian minister, currently serving as parish associate at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Los Angeles. He is married and has two children.
