S. Wesley Ariarajah is professor of ecumenical theology at Drew University, Madison, NJ. Before joining Drew he worked at the World Council of Churches, Geneva, Switzerland, for 16 years, first as the director of the Interfaith Dialogue Program, and later as the deputy general secretary. His publications include The Bible and People of Other Faiths, Christians and Hindus: A Century of Protestant Ecumenical Thought, and Axis of Peace - Christian Faith in Times of War and Violence.
