Edward F. Campbell Jr. is professor emeritus of Hebrew Bible at McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago. His career combined Palestinian archaeology (at Shechem) with biblical interpretation, including study of the social justice perspectives of the biblical world. He lives in Maine, continuing his work for social justice.
