Jim Burklo is the pastor of Sausalito Presbyterian Church. He is the author of Open Christianity (www.risingstarpress.com), an introduction to the practice of progressive Christianity. He serves on the national executive council of The Center for Progressive Christianity (www.tcpc.org) and lectures around the US, promoting the movement. He served as the ecumenical Protestant campus minister at Stanford University from 1994 to 2003. He is ordained as a minister in the United Church of Christ.
