He blogs as "pastordan" at www.streetprophets.com, which he co-founded with Markos Moulitsas of www.dailykos.com. While a student at Candler School of Theology, Schultz participated in a transitional housing program, living and working alongside homeless men attempting to move from shelters to more stable living arrangements. Rev. Schultz now pastors a small congregation in Pennsylvania coal country where he also works in a foster care agency.
