The Rev. Dr. Harvey Cox, Jr., Hollis Professor of Divinity at Harvard Divinity School, has long had a special interest in the relationships among religion, politics, and culture. Cox was a co-founder of the Boston chapter of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference and has served as a member of the working committee of the Department of Church and Society of the World Council of Churches.
