Kah-Jin Jeffrey Kuan is associate professor of Old Testament and director of the Certificate of Ministry Studies Program at Pacific School of Religion. His scholarship focuses on New Eastern—including Israelite—history; Asian and Asian American biblical interpretation; and pedagogies for teaching the Bible in church. His publications include Neo-Assyrian Historical Inscriptions and Syria-Palestine (1995) and Ways of Being, Ways of Reading: Constructing Asian-American Biblical Interpretation, co-edited with Mary F. Foskett (2005).
